Goldblatt aluminum hawks are made of a strong yet lightweight aluminum alloy. They are long wearing because they are cold rolled. The corners are carefully rounded for greater safety and comfort - there are no sharp corners to bend up and snag your trowel. A four inch flange reinforcing the center of the hawk gives it just the right feel. A bolt inside the lightweight hollow wood handle or soft grip handle screws securely into a 7/8" hub. Each Goldblatt hawk is equipped with a special sponge rubber callus preventer.
